David Beach, Director

David A. Beach was appointed
as the Director of the Utah Highway Safety Office in March
2001 by Public Safety Commissioner Robert
L Flowers. Dave was excited to return to his "roots" as he
started his career with the Utah Department of Public Safety
as an intern
and eventually a program specialist with the Highway Safety
Office in the late 1970s. He has also had the opportunity to
serve as
the Department's Director of Administrative Services and as
the Director of the Driver License Division.
Dave has been involved
in such organizations as the American Association of Motor
Vehicle Administrators, the Utah Driver and
Traffic Safety Education Association, the Salt Lake Management
Society, and the American Society for Public Administration.
