17th Annual Click It or Ticket Enforcement Campaign

Utah law enforcement agencies will be participating in the national Click It or Ticket Enforcement Campaign, working overtime seat belt shifts May 22nd through June 4th.

We kicked off the campaign with a media event last Thursday.

West Valley City Police Chief Lee Russo discussed how for officers, it’s not about writing tickets, it’s about saving lives.

They see the difference seat belt use makes in crashes.

Nine-year-old race car driver Tuscan Nuccitelli joined law enforcement officers by encouraging everyone to buckle up.
